Kateri Farrell is an emerging artist known for her captivating improvisation as impressive and versatile as it is rhythmic and groove centered. She tours internationally with 8x Grammy winning singer, songwriter and producer Stephen Marley and appeared with Stephen & Damian Marley on the 2024 Traffic Jam Tour.

Starting flute at age 9, she has always been passionate about sharing what this unique instrument is truly capable of. Studying classical and jazz flute at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gave her invaluable experience where she played in orchestra and was regularly featured with the award winning big bands. She then moved to Nashville and quickly became known as one of the solid flutists in town performing and recording anything from jazz to salsa to reggae. She continues to expand her network internationally.

Kateri has performed with her band at iconic venues such as Downbeat award winning Rudy’s Jazz Room and was a featured artist for the Nashville Jazz Workshop’s Spotlight Artist Series in 2023. Her debut single “I Choose You” released in 2023 has received critical acclaim. This marks the beginning of several projects the versatile artist has been working on including crafting her first album.

In Feb 2023, Kateri joined Stephen Marley’s band and has been highly acclaimed for what her sound brings to the Marley’s set. She continues to tour with them at iconic venues and festivals such as the New Orleans Jazzfest, Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks Amphitheater.
