Bio

Lynne Stukart is an award-winning musician, respected educator, sound therapist, and meditation artist, known for her expressive artistry, depth of knowledge, and holistic approach to performance and artists’ well-being. She holds a Master’s degree in Music with an emphasis in Music History from the University of Akron, where she served as Graduate Teaching Assistant to renowned flutist George Pope, and she also earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Music, graduating with honors.

As a dedicated educator and mentor, Lynne has been a college professor and flute specialist at various schools throughout the Midwest, including Augustana College, Blackhawk College, Western Illinois University, and the University of Akron (Ohio). She works closely with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra’s youth programs as a teacher and mentor, and her students have earned national recognition, including All-State selection for over 20 years, as well as performances at Carnegie Hall and Severance Hall.

Lynne’s orchestral work includes principal positions with the Akron Lyric Opera, Handel Oratorio Society, and Summit Choral Society, as well as performances with the Akron Symphony, Canton Civic Opera, Quad City Symphony, and Opera Quad Cities. She has been a multiple-time National Flute Association competition winner and featured performer at several NFA conventions, including performances with the International Low Flutes Professional Flute Choir.

Lynne's mentors include some of the most influential flutists of our time: Walfrid Kujala, Peter Lloyd, George Pope, Angeleita Floyd, Amy Porter, and Julius Baker, who personally invited her to study in New York after hearing her perform.

Beyond the concert stage and classroom, Lynne is a certified sound therapist and meditation guide. She specializes in performance wellness, nervous system regulation, and injury prevention for musicians—integrating lived experience with scientific research to help others build resilience and thrive.

As a sought-after mentor and speaker, Lynne has shared her voice on global stages as a featured sound meditation artist and sound therapy expert, appearing alongside luminaries Neale Donald Walsch, Dr. Bruce Lipton, John Assaraf, Marci Shimoff, and Lynne McTaggart. Through the alchemy of music, sound therapy, and meditation, her mission is to empower high performers, high achievers, and professionals with the tools to support their journey, guiding others toward deep rest, nervous system resilience, and radiant self-expression.

Lynne is the founder of the Quad City Flute Association and QC Piccolo Christmas, and remains in high demand as a clinician, adjudicator, and speaker. She is a Performing Artist and Clinician for Altus Flutes USA and has been on their Artist Roster since 2014.
