Phyllis Avidan Louke, is principal flute with Tilikum Chamber Orchestra, and Music Director of Rose City Flute Choir and maintains a large private studio in Portland, Oregon. An active clinician and adjudicator nationally, she is also co-author of an award-winning series of teaching publications for flute published by Theodore Presser Company.
Ms. Louke, a member of ASCAP, has been arranging and composing for the flute and flute choirs since 1990 with over 130 publications for solo flute, flute and piano, small flute ensemble and flute choir. Her compositions and arrangements have been winners and finalists in the annual National Flute Association Newly Published Music Competition. Her music is published by ALRY Publications, Falls House Press, Nourse Wind Publications, SMP Press, and Theodore Presser Company.
